Listen to the most famous band you've never heard of.
4Lyn, a German rock band from Hamburg, was formed in 1995 under the initial name Headtrip. In 2000, they changed their name to 4Lyn after realizing that Headtrip was too common in the scene. The new name was derived from the reverse spelling of "NIL" on a cigarette pack, which stood for "Little – Young – Nasties." Their debut album 4LYN was released in 2001, followed by Neon (2002), Take It As A Compliment (2004), and Compadres (2005). In 2005, they also wrote a theme song entitled "Go Sea Devils" for the Hamburg Sea Devils, an American football team. Other notable singles include "Bahama Mama", "Husky/Gone", and "Hey Ho, Let’s Go!" In 2013, 4Lyn announced their disbandment to focus on family and other projects. Their final concert took place on December 21, 2013, at the Hamburg Gruenspan.
