Valentina Monetta, born on March 1, 1975, in San Marino, is a Sammarinese singer who began her musical journey at an early age. She started her career in 1995 with the group Tiberio and later released her first EP, Il mio gioco perferito, with My Funky Valentine in 2011. Monetta gained international recognition for representing San Marino in the Eurovision Song Contest from 2012 to 2017, including notable entries such as "The Social Network Song (Uh Oh-Uh-Oh Oh)", "Crisalide (Vola)", and "Maybe (Forse)". In 2014, she became the first entrant to qualify for the final for San Marino with "Maybe (Forse)". Following her Eurovision participation, Monetta released La storia di Valentina Monetta in 2013.
