Pepijn Caudron, known professionally as Kreng, was born on May 5, 1975, in Belgium. He began his musical journey at twelve, singing and drumming in local bands, and by fifteen, he started experimenting with sampling techniques. Kreng's breakthrough came when he scored his first theatre production for Abattoir Fermé in 2004. This collaboration led to over fifty soundtracks by 2014. His debut album L’Autopsie Phénoménale De Dieu was released in 2009 on the Norwegian label Miasmah, followed by Grimoire in 2011. In 2015, Kreng scored his first full feature film soundtrack for Cooties, marking a shift towards film composition.
