The emerging young artist Dave D started rapping at the age of 14 in a small town called Musina, in Limpopo, South Africa. Ever since he burst on the scene as a fresh-faced teenager bringing contemporary, heart warming and exciting music to the forefront of the African culture, he has gained a reputation for creating potent, fascinating and emotion evoking songs that examine life’s complexities with an open heart, keen eye and his experiences as well. He became a part of a music group called PRSXL in 2020 and they have released a couple of songs together. Their mixture of talent, flows and style makes them stand out from any other music group out there.
He released his first body of work on all digital platforms, "DiISCOVERY" on the 6th of August 2021 even though he had been dropping a sum of songs on other platforms since 2016. This was an eye opener for a lot of fans and made people aware of him and has made his presence felt since then. He then went to drop other projects and songs which have made him get an amusing number of monthly listeners from all over the world and has generated over 200 000 streams on Spotify. His musical gifts and transcending genres are bound to make him a household name.
