Deepcentral, a Romanian house and pop band, was formed in 2009 by DJ George Călin and vocalist Doru Todoruț. Before Deepcentral, Călin was part of the band Demmo. The duo's self-titled album was released in 2009, under Universal Music Romania. Their single "In Love" (2010) topped the Romanian Top 100 for seven weeks in 2010 and spent a total of 17 weeks in the top ten, leading to a nomination for the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Romanian Act. The duo also collaborated with Xonia on her hit "My Beautiful One" (2010).
