Kekko Fornarelli is an Italian jazz pianist and composer born Francesco Fornarelli on January 10, 1978, in Bari. He began piano lessons at age three and later studied at the Conservatorio Piccinni di Bari. In 2005, Fornarelli released his debut studio recording, Circular Thought, and relocated to France to study music history. He collaborated with artists including Manhu Roche and Rosario Giuliani for his second recording, A French Man in New York (2008), which he dedicated to Michel Petrucciani. His third recording, Room of Mirrors (2011), was inspired by the musician Esbjörn Svensson. Fornarelli produced a video for the recording “The Daily Jungle”, which utilized video conferencing and domestic furniture. His discography included the solo piano recording Monologue (2012). He collaborated with musicians including Michel Benita and Yuri Goloubev and performed across Europe.
