Raivopäät, a Finnish punk rock band formed in Kouvola in December 1993, initially aimed to release a single recording. The group, featuring Ace Andersson on vocals and Muisto Toutavaara on guitar, quickly expanded their discography with releases such as Terve hulluus (1994) and the EP Toinen uusi-aalto (1994). Raivopäät's lineup underwent significant changes over the years, and they continued to release albums including Via Dolorosa (1995) and Syntyneet häviämään (1996). Following a temporary disbandment in July 1997, the band reformed in September of that year and released Pojat varjoisilta kujilta (1998). In 2003, Raivopäät released Uudesti syntynyt, followed by collaborations with notable Finnish punk figures on the Punkrock Jukebox series starting in 2007.
