Flutlicht was a Swiss trance act from Winterthur, founded in 1999 by producer Marco Guardia and DJ Daniel Heinzer (DJ Natron). The duo entered the scene with the 1999 single "Das Siegel" following this with "Ahmea" and "Mutterkorn" in 2000, establishing an early presence in the local club circuit. Their breakthrough came in 2001 with "Icarus (The Flight)", which earned international attention and led to remix work for prominent names such as Cosmic Gate, Talla 2XLC, and The Thrillseekers. In 2004, Guardia departed, and the group released a final remix of Sumatra’s "Reincarnation" before ceasing activity. The project remains noted for its experimental sound and contributions to early 2000s trance.
