The Woods Band was an Irish folk-rock group formed in 1970 by husband and wife team Terry and Gay Woods, shortly after their departure from Steeleye Span. The band initially featured a mix of traditional folk instruments with contemporary rock instruments, releasing their self-titled debut album The Woods Band in 1971. This album included tracks like "Everytime" and "Dreams", showcasing the band's unique blend of traditional material and original compositions. In 2001, Terry Woods reformed The Woods Band with a new lineup, which released their third studio album Music from the Four Corners of Hell in 2002, featuring collaborations with Ronnie Drew from The Dubliners. Despite occasional gigs and the release of this album, the band became inactive in 2003.
