Nuri Sesigüzel (born 1 July 1937, in Birecik) was a Turkish folk singer and actor. Following his secondary education, he began his career by winning a TRT Istanbul Radio contest in 1961. His recording career launched with the single "Kore Dağlarında Kar Bölük Bölük", followed by gold-certified folk songs including "Sarı Sabahlık", "Ağlayan Gözlerim", and "Saç Beyaz Oldu". Between 1963 and 1995, Sesigüzel composed 57 folk songs. He debuted as a film actor in Kara Yılan (1963) and appeared in productions such as Kara Tren (1966) and Kaderin Oyunu (1970). He also composed film scores, including the music for Geceler Yarim Oldu (1966) and Kara Sevda (1968). In 1975, he co-founded the FILMSAN foundation to support cinema artists. Sesigüzel died of cardiac failure on 20 May 2023 in Istanbul.
