Gracetown, a Christian pop band from Germany, was founded in 2009 when ten musicians from Stuttgart and Heidelberg came together for the JesusHouse event sesries. Most of the members performed together in 2007 at JessHouse in Hamburg and initially took on the name "JesusHouseBand." The group consists of two drummers, one keyboardist, two guitarists, one bassist, and four vocalists. Their debut album Du bleibst was released in 2010, followed by their second studio album Das ist unsre Zeit later that year. In 2011, they received the David Award for Best Album of 2010 for Du bleibst. Gracetown's third album, Stand der Dinge, was released in 2012. The band is known for addressing societal issues such as global injustice and relationship poverty in their lyrics.
