Zornik is a Belgian rock band from Zonhoven, formed in 1999 by Koen Buyse, Marijn Horemans, and Kristof Vanduren. In 1999, the group reached the finals of the HUMO's Rock Rally contest. The ensemble signed with Parlophone Belgium and released the EP “Love Affair” in 2001. That same year, Zornik received the TMF Award for Most Promising Band and replaced Horemans with Davy Deckmijn on drums. The group released the debut album The Place Where You Will Find Us in February 2002, which reached Number 1 on the Belgian charts. The record featured the singles “Hey Girl” and “You Move Me”. In October 2002, the band received the TMF Award for Best Rock Group. Vanduren was later replaced by Bas Remans. Zornik subsequently released the albums One-Armed Bandit (2004), Crosses (2007), and the compilation 4.000.000 Minutes of Zornik (2008). In 2022, the ensemble released the live album 20 Years of Zornik.
