Catherine Gordeladze, born Ekaterine Gordeladse on May 31, 1971, in Tiflis, Georgian SSR, is a German-Georgian pianist. She began her piano training at six and had her first orchestral performance at seven. In 1982, she performed Beethoven’s 3rd Piano Concerto with the Georgian Philharmonic. Gordeladze studied at the Tbilisi Conservatory and later in Germany at the Frankfurt am Main Music Academy. She has collaborated with notable orchestras such as the Georgian State Orchestra and the Mainz State Orchestra. Gordeladze has received numerous awards, including the 1st Prize at the State Competition for Young Talents in Tiflis (1987) and the Bruno-Heck-Preis from the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (2005). She also served as a lecturer at the Frankfurt am Main Music Academy.
