Tonus Peregrinus is a British vocal ensemble that was established in 1990. The group specialized in early music and contemporary sacred music, especially that of founder and director, Antony Pitts. Their debut album, Passio by Arvo Pärt, won the Cannes Classical Award. They released two more albums featuring Antony Pitts' music: Seven Letters and Alpha and Omega. Their album Music from the Eton Choirbook (2012) was recorded using a new microphone technique developed by NRK engineer Geoff Miles. Tonus Peregrinus has also performed at the memorial for Alexander Litvinenko.
