Duanduan Hao, born in Shanxi, China, in 1990, is a Chinese classical pianist who began studying piano at age four. He enrolled at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 2001, later moving to Paris and then New York for further training. His notable achievements include winning the second National Piano Competition of China in 2004, the ninth International Piano Competition Ettlingen in Germany, and the sixth Teresa Llacuna Piano Competition in 2008. Hao released Scarlatti's Complete Keyboard Sonatas Vol. 14 with Naxos Records in 2011. He is also known for his philanthropic efforts through the Hope project, supporting underprivileged individuals in China.
