Suzi is an American-Dominican independent recording artist from New Jersey. She is a singer songwriter specializing in pop, hip hop and r&b styles. For her debut single in 2015, Suzi collaborated with renowned New Jersey rapper Fetty Wap titled "Nobody's Better" that went viral in Asia now totaling over 100 million streams worldwide. Billboard ranked the track #4 on the "7 Fetty Wap Collaborations You Might Not Know". Suzi later released her second single “Special 4 U” with Canadian rapper Tory Lanez where the official video launched on Worldstar following an Apple Music exclusive premiere celebrated with a Times Square billboard. Suzi has opened for the legendary artist Mya, made TV appearances on VH1’s reality series Beauty Bar and has been featured in New Jerseys’ very own 201 Magazine.
Suzi has always had a love for music. Even as a toddler she would break out in a passionate rendition of a myriad of songs she would memorize by ear. Despite this prodigy-like gift, her innate ability to sing wasn’t noticed until she was in kindergarten where she attended the Memorial School of Paramus, NJ. Her music instructor took note of her extraordinary ability. This led to a phone call to Suzi’s mother informing her of her daughter’s prior unnoticed special gift. Ever since she was enrolled in vocal training and then accrued over a decade of experience in classic, opera, pop and mainstream vocal training.
