Jérôme Correas is a musician known for his work in classical music. He began studying piano at five and later focused on harpsichord (clavecin) and bass continuo under Antoine Geoffroy-Dechaume. Correas' career took off when he met William Christie in 1987, leading to his enrollment at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique de Paris, where he earned a first prize. His early roles included performances at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence and collaborations with Les Arts Florissants from 1988 to 1993. In 2001, he founded the baroque orchestra Les Paladins, exploring French and Italian repertoires of the 17th and 18th centuries. Correas has been recognized for his contributions to music, including being named Officier de l'ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2024.
