Liima Inui, a rock band from Greenland, was founded in 1995 by Georg "Kiiu" Olsen. The band's music often featured Greenlandic lyrics, though later albums include more English-language tracks. The group released their debut album Shaman that same year under the label ULO, featuring vocals from Georg Olsen and Karina Møller. Their second album, Pluto, released in 2007 with Randi Broberg on lead vocals, marked a significant breakthrough, earning a silver record, the Talent Award at the Koda Awards, and the Annual Award from Kalaallit Nunaata Radioa. The band toured extensively across Greenland, Denmark, and Iceland following its release. Their third album, Republik, released in 2009, included politically charged lyrics and was co-financed by all Grönländische parties. Liima Inui disbanded in 2012 but reunited in 2016 with Paaliit Mølgaard as the new lead vocalist, releasing Inri that year and Testament in 2021.
