Daniel Marsden "Danny" Widdicombe is a musician from Queensland. Widdicombe's solo career began with the release of The Transplant Tapes in 2006 under Butter Chicken Records. In 2008, he formed the country blues band The Wilson Pickers, where he played resonator guitar and provided vocals alongside other musicians. At the age of 19, Widdicombe was diagnosed with leukemia but continued his musical pursuits. His third album, Find Someone, was completed during a period when his leukemia returned and was released in November 2011. In 2019, Widdicombe collaborated with instrumental jazz trio Trichotomy for the album Between the Lines. He won QMusic Encouragement Award at the Queensland Music Awards in 2007, and the Jazz Award for "Falling" in 2021 at the same award show.
