Looking forward to a Merry Christmas. Stay tuned for new music!
Multiple Award Winner Robyn Spangler has wowed audiences around the world performing concert and convention dates, benefits, private events and clubs.
Robyn grew up in a musical family in the midwest. Her great grandfather was a clown a violinist with the Barnum and Bailey Circus. As a child, Robyn took piano lessons from former Steve Miller Band member Jim Peterman. She went on to play keyboards and sing with her first cover band at 17.
Quickly falling in with the studio musicians in the Cincinnati area she would find herself in a recording studio on a Saturday nite while her friends recorded radio jingles and demos on a 16 track analog board. She would record harmonies on local radio spots. Sometimes bands would wonder in to hang out or record... like former Pure Prairie League members Tommy McGrail, Vince Gill and Emmylou Harris (who was the opening act for PPL at that time).
More recently, she has guested with the San Diego Ballet Symphony at the Lyceum Theatre in San Diego, the Saddleback College Emeritus Institute Symphony Symphony in Laguna Beach, the with New England Symphonic Ensemble at Carnegie Hall in New York and Royce Hall at UCLA in Los Angeles. In 2017, she sang "The Star Spangled Banner" at her hometown Cincinnati Reds Game. In 2019, she sang up and down the west coast with "Battle of the Big Bands."
Robyn's music receives ranking on the jazz charts, has received airplay on Delta Airlines' Hello Music Channel and on radio stations across the US.
