Samuel “OG Mage” Ogaba is Rap/Hip-hop star from Nigeria. Born on 25 August 1995, to parents of Idoma heritage from Benue State, Samuel has been telling stories with his music since 2014.
Inspired by the greats hip-hop stars of the 90s, OG Mage fuses Afrobeat and Hip-hop to create his own space where he talks about his creations and visions for the future.
He is working on his first album that will take a deeper look at his experiences as a Nigerian.
“My music is a response to my experiences and the connections I have made, as well as what I want to be.”
Samuel is also a Software Engineer and Visual Artist based in Lagos but spends most of his time working from Abuja.
His latest project, Anthem Ready is on digital stores and streaming platforms. This comes after Alter Ego EP, a very refreshing body of work.
