Donikkl is a musical band formed in Regensburg, Germany, led by Andreas Donauer and composed of professional musicians and educators. The group's repertoire primarily caters to children. In 2008, they gained widespread recognition with the release of "So ein schöner Tag (Fliegerlied)", which became a staple at various folk festivals including Gäubodenvolksfest, the Rosenheim Autumn Festival, and Munich's Oktoberfest. The single achieved chart success in both Germany (number 24) and Austria (number 56). The song was covered by numerous artists, with Tim Toupet's version becoming a top 10 hit in Germany and charting in Switzerland. Donikkl released several albums, including Kinderzimmerparty (2002), Baumhausgeschichten (2003), and their compilation album Best of 2001-2009 (2009).
