Canada, an American indie folk-pop music group from Ann Arbor, Michigan, was formed in 2004. The band self-released their EP, How Dare You, in 2005 and subsequently signed with Quite Scientific. Their first full-length album, This Cursed House, was released in 2006, becoming the Number 1 most-added album on college radio for June 20, 2006, and reaching number 13 on the CMJ Radio Top 200. Canada toured extensively with acts like Page France and Margot and the Nuclear So and So's, performing at festivals such as SXSW. They released their album, Put Singing Birds Into Your Messy Hair, in 2021.
