J'L'Tismé, pronounced Jee Le Tismé, is a French rapper, producer, and director born in Paris. J'L'Tismé began his career as part of the group Tout simplement noir, founded alongside MC Bees, Demon B (later E Blaze), and Parano Refré. The group's name reflected the racial climate of the time, and Tout simplement noir achieved early success before disbanding in 1998. J'L'Tismé then pursued a solo career, releasing his debut album Le Jour J in 2000. J'L'Tismé produced and collaborated with various artists, including Parano Refré, Daddy Yod, Peeda, Tony Merso, Roll-K, 50/50, and Graine 2 N. Notable releases included A La Barak Vol.1 - Jeefunk Review (2009) and Al West (2010). In 2010, J'L'Tismé reformed Tout simplement noir for a final concert in Paris after a 13-year hiatus. J'L'Tismé also directed several DVDs and clips, including Roll-k Hot Show and L.A.xagone.
