From London, Ontario, Canada, the members of SoundSwitch met at the city's Music Industry Arts Program, training under renowned producer Jack Richardson (Alice Cooper, Bob Seger, The Guess Who).
Starting in 2010, mulit-instrumalists Rob Stewart and Darren John T. recorded three albums and multiple singles with their most successful being 2012's Walk Into Now.
Their recording of Don Felder's Heavy Metal (Takin' A Ride) has charted numerous times on streaming platforms in over 20 countries, including Spotify's Top 50 Viral Songs and the iTunes-Apple Music Top 10 charts.
In 2020, they were chosen to be on the official soundtrack for the Heavy Metal Magazine pinball machine along with Blue Oyster Cult, Cheap Trick, Justice, Helloween, Sebastian Bach and others.
