Leonie Meijer, born September 4, 1985, in Rotterdam, Netherlands, is a singer known for her work in pop rock and soft rock. She studied at the Academy of Music in Lelystad and the Conservatory in Amsterdam, performing with Material Spirit as both a singer and guitarist.
Meijer's breakthrough came in 2010 on The Voice Netherlands, reaching the final under Jeroen Van der Boom. Her cover of "Just Hold Me" by Maria Mena peaked at number 27 on the Single Top 100 chart. She released her debut album LOS! in October 2011, featuring the single "Lost in Yesterday," which reached number 36 on the Dutch Top 40. Her third album, The Naked Sessions (2015), included notable tracks like "White Ribbons" written after the MH17 tragedy.
