Carlos Libedinsky, born in 1961 in Argentina, is a musician and composer known for his work with the bandoneon. He began his musical journey by exploring various genres, including rock, pop, blues, medieval, and Renaissance music. In 1986, he became director of Tademus, a music school in Buenos Aires. Libedinsky's breakthrough came with the formation of Narcotango, a neo-tango project that gained significant attention. The group released their debut album Narcotango in 2003, followed by Narcotango 2 in 2006 and the live album Narcotango en vivo in 2008. Narcotango embarked on European tours in 2003, 2005, and 2007. Libedinsky's work with Narcotango has been influential in blending traditional tango with electronic music.
