Die Mooskirchner, an Austrian folk music band, was formed in 1975 by Helmut Freydl as the Mooskirchner Quintett. In 1989, Helmut Freydl reformed the band under the name Die Mooskirchner, with significant contributions from Klarinettist Helmut Färber as composer and arranger. The group released their debut album Es klingt Musik in 1991, which earned them a gold certification, and several notable albums including Ohne Moos nichts los (1995) and Männer haben Glück (2013). They performed extensively across Europe, Turkey, Australia, and the Middle East, appearing in major television shows such as Karl Moik's Musikantenstadl. In 2012, Helmut Freydl left the band due to professional reasons and was replaced by Mario Pirsterer.
