Tani Allen & His Tennessee Pals was an American country music band from Memphis, Tennessee and formed in 1950, who performed locally before signing with Bullet Records in Nashville. Their first single, "Tennessee Jive", was released in 1950. The band recorded six singles with Buck Turner on vocals, including "I’m Back in the Army" (1951) and "Fatty Cake" (1952). Their final release for Bullet Records was "When Hillbilly Willie Met Kitty From The City" in 1952. The band disbanded in the mid-1950s and Allen continued his career by recording for labels like Do-Re-Mi, Millionaire, and B.B. Records, and managed a club where he performed.
