Hugo Salazar Anglada, born in Seville, Spain, is a Spanish singer and songwriter. He gained prominence in 2002 as the fifth finalist of Operación Triunfo. Salazar's debut single "El templo de tu cuerpo" (2003) sold over 200,000 copies and earned four platinum discs in Spain. His first album, El héroe de tu vida (2003), achieved platinum status. Notable songs include "Quiero que vuelva" and a duet with Nika on "Duermes". Salazar's subsequent albums include En el silencio (2007), Nuevas latitudes (2010), and Gente (2013). He received the Cadena Dial award for his career in 2012.
