LYR, for Land Yacht Regatta, is a British experimental music project formed in 2016 by singer-songwriter Richard Walters, poet Simon Armitage and producer/artist Patrick Pearson. The group blends texts by the UK's poet laureate laureate with ambient electronic production, across the albums Call in the Crash Team (2020), The Ultraviolet Age (2023), An Unnatural History (2024) and Dark Sky Reservation (2026).
