Corrupted Ideals, a punk rock band from Long Beach, California, formed in 1988. The initial lineup included Paul Kelly on vocals and Mike Nigro on guitar, who co-wrote most of the material for their album, Join the Resistance, released in 1991. Their subsequent album, Anti-Generation (1993), featured a revised lineup with Pete "Action Man" Archer on bass and Anthony Guarino on drums. Nicky Garratt also contributed guitar work to portions of this album, including a cover of "Telephone Numbers" by UK Subs. The band underwent further changes before touring the Western US, with Sean Antillon joining as drummer. Corrupted Ideals were notably featured in an article in Thrasher Magazine in April 1994. After disbanding in 1995, Paul Kelly and Sean Antillon formed the Neurotones.
