Xueran Chen is a Chinese soundtrack composer who lives in Pasadena, California and owns the NEM Studios in Los Angeles. He graduated in music production from Berklee College of Music, Valencia in 2014 and quickly established himself as a successful and prolific soundtrack composer.
During an internship with Andrew Gross he assisted in the scoring of TV series 'The Secret Santa'. He then set up his own studio. In 2017 Chen composed the title and theme songs for China's most popular TV series 'Princess Agents' and also for the film 'Detective Chinatown 2' (2018). His other films include 'Wonder' (2017) and 'Green Book' (2018).
Chen composed and sang 'We Won't Be Falling', the soundtrack to the online drama 'Guardian' in 2018. In 2019 he composed the 'Nameless Generation' theme song to the TV series 'Go Go Squid'.
