Writing clean and compelling pop songs is a challenge that even renowned musicians struggle with. To attribute this solely to a lack of ability, however, would be presumptuous. Often, it’s simply the respect for embracing the “less is more” philosophy that holds them back. That’s why it’s refreshing when someone wholeheartedly dedicates themselves to the joy of pop music. That is the case with Brainchild, the band around Basel musician and singer Antonin Queloz.
