KATA a versatile artist from Toulouse. He made his debut in 2000 with 10VERS (BASTARD PROD) and in 2003 founded the MIT RECORDS collective “Made In Toulouse Records”, an emblematic structure of Toulouse Independent Rap.
A native of the country, KATA has established collaborations with many local artists through various projects, ranging from featurings to concerts and radio. As a director of compilations and albums, he created with his team notable works such as ANTIRAPCISM involving 90 MC's and other daring projects such as TOULOUSE HAITI (35 Mc's) - DONNE TA VOIX (40 MC's) - 31 TRACKS with more than 80 artists…
On his journey, he meets and collaborates with renowned artists such as MEDINE, AL PECO, ALIBI MONTANA, FURAX, SPECTA, SEFYU, KROKMITTEN (MENAGE A 3) - DAVYD VENER, DJ NELS TIME BOMB, illustrating his influence and recognition in within the French music scene.
In March 2023, he returns with an album of 20 tracks "DIGITALIZED" Feat MELAN - DEGOM - MUGE KNIGHT - MOTTA - FRA.K - DJ NELS TIME BOMB - DAVYD VENER - KONSPI L'OR NOIR - VITO - KEUSS10 - FRESH GORDON.

Always in search of authentic sounds of its own, with its team of Beatmakers, KATA produces in-house sound “MADE IN TOULOUSE” reflecting its attachment to its city and its commitment to independent rap.
