Tasha Page-Lockhart was born Natasha Marie Page on March 21, 1983, in Detroit, Michigan. She began her musical career performing with her mother’s gospel group, Witness. Page-Lockhart rose to prominence in 2013 after winning the sixth season of BET’s Sunday Best, which secured her a contract with RCA Records and Fo Yo Soul Recordings. Her debut album, Here Right Now, appeared in August 2014, reaching number 87 on the Billboard 200 and number 3 on the Top Gospel Albums chart. In 2015, she won New Artist of the Year at the 30th Stellar Awards. She released her second album, The Beautiful Project, in 2017 and was named Contemporary Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2019 Stellar Awards. In 2021, she achieved a Number 1 on the Gospel Airplay chart with the single “Beautiful Savior”.
