Who is Funckshaun? In Short - Funckshaun is a self taught Audio Producer, Artist and Graphic Designer originally raised from Hartford CT starting in (1980's) - Atlanta/Florida area (Present Time). He began his Hip Hop venture around the age of 14 in Hartford CT. Started a Music group named Citizen Kaos in Manchester CT around the age of 18. Moving to Atlanta he continued music productions from his mid 20s up until this day.
Funckshaun is truly a life experienced real Artist. Not having the money to get what you need to work on your craft will make you a master over time. He used basic keyboards and free software to produce music for years. He could not afford mastering an major studio time like many others. He enjoys working with real down to Earth Artists who know the grind. No Ghost Writers, no big production budget. Most music is of his complete original creations.
Why? 1) One day the goal is to help regular people like himself express they're talents. Despite the Lyrics, Funckshaun is not an egotistical Being. Being a rapper doesn't make you better than other people. 2) Funckshaun is fully aware of many dark secrets of this world. He feels our talents are a way to educate and share information with others while giving people an outlet, To be the voice of those who don't have the power to speak. 3) Always for loved ones. Always.
Funckshaun talks about real world local and Global issues, Ethnicity, the evils of the world and uplifting or inspiring others. And definitely talks about wack Hop Hop. Stop the hate and ridiculous and unnecessary violence of others.
