Lillo Thomas, born in 1961 in the United States of America, is a singer known for his contributions to soul music. Initially a competitive sprint runner, Lillo Thomas transitioned into music after retiring from athletics following a car accident in Brazil in 1984. His musical career began with the release of his first album on Capitol Records in 1983, which charted at Number 23 on the R&B Albums record charts and included his debut solo hit "(You're A) Good Girl", peaking at Number 22 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks. Lillo Thomas also worked as a session vocalist with notable artists such as Evelyn "Champagne" King, Kashif, James Ingram, and George Benson. He collaborated closely with Melba Moore, writing "Mind Up Tonight" for her and joining her tour in 1984. His second solo album, All of You, reached Number 9 on the R&B Albums chart and Number 186 on the Billboard 200 in 1984. In 1987, his album Lillo hit Number 10 on the R&B Albums chart and launched his most successful single "I'm in Love", which reached Number 2 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart. Two other singles from this album, "Downtown" and "Sexy Girl", also charted at Number 11 and Number 9 respectively. In 2010, he released his fourth album, Come and Get It.
