Capella de Ministrers is a Spanish early music ensemble from Valencia, founded in 1987 by its director, the musicologist and viol player Carles Magraner. The ensemble specializes in the interpretation of Spanish music composed before 1800, utilizing historical instruments and period performance criteria. The ensemble has performed at international festivals and across Spain. The ensemble issued its debut studio album, Música barroca valenciana, in 1989. Subsequent recordings include Cançoner del duc de Calàbria (1990), La España virreinal (1993), and La Madrileña (1996). The ensemble has received awards from publications such as Goldberg Magazine, CD Compact, Diapason, and Scherzo. Later releases include Il barbaro dolore (2003), Amors e cansó (2008), and Música encerrada (2014). Other recordings include Musica grotesca (2023) and Alegoria del amor (2024).
