Christine Hödl is an Austrian singer born in 1976 in Vienna. She was a trained kindergarten educator before participating in the television talent competition Die große Chance in 2011. Hödl won the first prize in the competition and released her debut studio recording, Pure, in December 2011. The album reached number 7 on the Austrian charts and received a gold certification in January 2012. Her discography included the recordings “It's Got to Be Today” (2011) and “The Key to Be Free” (2011). In 2012, she released the track “Des geht si ned aus”, which also reached the Austrian singles chart. Hödl performed within the rock and alternative rock genres. She maintained her career as an educator while continuing to record music.
