Markus Klinko, born in 1961 in Hungary, is a harpist and international fashion/celebrity photographer. He began his musical career as a classical harp soloist, studying at the Paris Conservatory under Pierre Jamet and Lily Laskine. In 1987, Klinko signed an exclusive recording contract with EMI Classics and a management contract with Columbia Artists Management. His early albums include French Impressions (1990) and Musique Francaise Pour Harpe (1992). He received the Grand Prix de Disque for his recording of French harp music with members of the orchestra of the Paris Opera Bastille, performed in recitals worldwide, and was featured in publications such as Vogue Italia and The New York Times. In 1994, after a hand injury, Klinko transitioned to fashion photography, retiring from his musical career. His photographic work includes iconic album covers for artists like Beyoncé (Dangerously in Love) and Mariah Carey (The Emancipation of Mimi).
