Keedie Green, born 21 October 1982 in England, began singing at a young age after her family moved to Torquay; she left school at fourteen to pursue a music career and signed her first contract at sixteen. Her breakthrough came with the 2004 single "I Believe My Heart"-a duet with Duncan James-that reached number 2 on the UK Singles Chart, followed by the charity single "Jerusalem" in 2005, which entered the chart at number 19. In November 2004 she released her debut album I Believe My Heart, featuring contemporary tracks, pop covers such as "You'll See" and "Only Time", and original songs, and later recorded Puccini’s "Nessun Dorma". After parting ways with EMI Classics in 2005, Keedie Green performed at notable events including the 2005 Kent Music Festival with Katherine Jenkins, sang the national anthem at the 2006 League Cup final, and appeared alongside Tina Turner in a 2007 charity concert. She released the charity album KN21 in 2007, auditioned for The X Factor in 2010, and performed on The Voice UK in 2015. In 2018 she starred in the West End production TriOperas, and in 2020 conducted a master class for South Devon College students while participating in a virtual NHS fundraiser.
