Japanese all-girl idol group ukka (previously known as Sakura Ebis) was officially launched in 2015 as a sister group to Stardust Promotion's Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku. Originally a four-piece consisting of Mizuha, Misato, Riju, and Ayame, the group added fifth member Sora in mid-2015 and made its debut at the Tokyo Idol Festival. After adding Moa as their sixth member, ukka released a handful of CD-R singles before issuing their studio debut Sakuraebis in 2018. This was followed by a second LP titled Octave (2019), and the EP T.O.N.E. in July 2021. Later that year, the group replaced Misato and Mizuha with Rina and Ruri and signed its first major-label contract with Teichuku Records. In 2022, ukka returned with their second extended play MORE!x3, and also released the non-album single "Viva la Vida," which reached Number 28 on the Line Music Top 100 chart.
