Carmen Fenk, born on November 12, 1978, in Sevelen, St. Galler Rheintal, Switzerland, is a singer and songwriter known for her powerful, raspy voice and dynamic performances. She rose to prominence as the first winner of the Swiss casting show MusicStar in 2004. Her debut album, Fenkadelic, topped the Swiss Hitparade, and her single "In Love with You Again" also reached Number 1. Following her solo album, Fenk toured with the Gospelchor Shelomith in 2005 and 2006. In 2008, she released the single "Hero," composed with guitarist Beat Eckert. In April 2015, she released her second album Eleven, which featured nine original songs and two covers blending pop and soul. The album title refers to the eleven years since her MusicStar victory.
