The band consisted of Sean "Neddy" Arkins on rap vocals, Robert Burch on guitar and vocals, and Sean "Walshy" Walsh on ukulele. The band's debut album, This Life, was released in 2012 and debuted at Number 1 on the Irish iTunes Charts. Notable songs from this period include "Travelling Man" and "Never Gonna Walk Away", which won Song of the Year at the Meteor Choice Music Awards in 2013. The Original Rudeboys supported international artists such as The Script, US rapper The Game, and English rapper Professor Green during their tours.
