Die großen 3 der Volksmusik was an Austrian music project formed in 1998, consisting of Klostertaler, Nockalm Quintett, and Kastelruther Spatzen. The group was particularly active between 1999 and 2001, releasing their self-titled debut album Die großen 3 der Volksmusik in 1999. They followed this with a Christmas-themed release, Weihnachten mit den Großen 3, in 2001. The group's final studio album, Ein Wiedersehen zum Abschied, was released in 2011 to mark the disbandment of Klostertaler. Notable releases include their best-of compilation Das Beste from 2005 and a video album titled Die großen 3 der Volksmusik in 2000.
