Sergeant Steel are an Austrian Hard rock band and were founded in 2007. The group has released four studio albums and a best of compilation internationally. Furthermore they produced the official anthem of Austria’s first division hockey team EHC Black Wings Linz.
The band worked in studio with musical legends like Michael Wagener (Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Megadeth, Skid Row, Queen, Janet Jackson, Mötley Crüe, Alice Cooper, Dokken, Extreme, White Lion, Accept, Stryper, Poison, W.A.S.P., Warrant, ...sold over 90 million copies worldwide), Beau Hill (Ratt, Alice Cooper, Europe, Warrant, Kix, Winger, Twisted Sister, Steve Stevens, ...), Peter Mew at Abbey Road Studios (The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Queen, David Bowie, Deep Purple, ...), Mark Slaughter (Slaughter) and Kane Roberts (Alice Cooper).
Sergeant Steel have played several top-notch open air, festival and club shows throughout Austria, Germany and Czech Republic. Sergeant Steel were the opening act of Deep Purple (2013), Hollywood Vampires plus The Darkness (2018), Scorpions plus Europe (2019) and ZZ Top plus Richie Kotzen (2024). They also were the opening act of The Sweet in Vienna twice (2013, 2014).
