Alexandra Silocea, born in 1984 in Romania, is a pianist. She began piano lessons at age eight and continued her studies at the George Enescu Music School in Bucharest. In 2000, she passed the entrance exam for the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Silocea later pursued further education at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique et de Danse Paris (Paris Conservatory of Music and Dance). In 2008, Alexandra Silocea made her debut with the Vienna Chamber Orchestra and conductor Pablo Gonzalez. Her discography includes Prokofiev Piano Sonatas 1–5 (2011) and "Sound Waves" featuring works by Romberg, Debussy, Ravel, Liszt, and Schubert/Liszt (2013).
