Making songs in his spare room, Australian writer and producer LUUNG’s wistful melodies and reverb drenched guitar, delivers a honest glimpse into his heart. The LUUNG project has always had the goal to “take you somewhere.”
Often inspired by the ever growing Brisbane scene, artists such as Akurei, Vancouver Sleep Clinic and Andrew Belle have been foundational in LUUNG find it’s sound. Following the release of his 3rd EP “did it get any better?” in January 2021. LUUNG has stripped it all back to the core of music production, working towards a more organic sound.
The DIY producer is drawn to songs that grow and evolve, but still have moments of intimacy. It has been a turbulent year of creativity, faced with indecision and second guessing. But LUUNG continues to be open minded with each release, as he sets his sights on engaging an audience that is truly his.
