Hella Donna, a German pop-rock group from Plauen, Saxony, was formed in 2003 by Cindy Leißner and Sven Hessel. They began working on original material in 2004 and released their first single, "Hometown Radio" (2005). In 2006, the band underwent significant changes due to musical differences and the death of bassist Sandra Vollrodt. They released their debut album, Come On (2007), featuring the singles "Give me Some Time" and "Starstalker". Hella Donna signed with Monopol Records and released albums such as Different Faces (2009) and Groove On (2012). Notable achievements included nominations for the Hollywood Music in Media Awards and wins at the Deutscher Rock und Pop Preis. In 2014, they released the album Unbreakable. The band disbanded in 2014.
